Stepping off a small box should sometimes be just that: a small step. When you throw a product to a friend, the preparation and the box in your hand should agree. Version 0.28 focuses on these small points of contact within the character work introduced over the previous three versions.

A small step should stay small

Stepping down from small stock no longer unnecessarily starts the full falling presentation. A deliberate jump still appears immediately, while unintentional airtime must now represent a meaningful fall in both duration and height.

During ordinary movement, visual height adjustments help boot soles meet the surface supporting them. That reduces the impression of floating feet over small height differences. Steep slopes and independent leg placement on every stair still need further work.

Let the throw start in your hand

Throw preparation is shorter: the minimum hold is now 0.18 seconds, with full strength at 0.45 seconds. The box follows the animated palm during preparation, and the throw starts from the position you can actually see in your hand. The trajectory guide uses that updated starting point for nearby targets.

In co-op, a thrown product no longer briefly pulls back into the carrying pose while waiting for the server response. The mechanical flow is improved; the larger-box throw animation still needs visual polish.

You decide when the ride ends

A player who wakes up in a shopping cart now stays seated and can look around with the camera. When you want to get out, hold F for 0.8 seconds to request a safe exit. Holding F also lets a dragged player request release.

A quick F tap, Space, right-click or opening a menu does not automatically eject the passenger. Leaving the cart becomes a deliberate choice. Knockout screen darkening also works in third person now.

Where this shift leaves us

Version 0.28 carries forward the five selectable workers, two camera views, twelve emotes and hand/work motions from the preceding versions. This round concentrates on making those movements feel more consistent during ordinary play.

Windows build checks covered throwing, catching, helping and controlled cart exits, with additional local sessions under simulated network delay. Longer, larger real-internet shifts still need player testing. After signing in, the playtest area shows the version of the package currently offered there.
